MOU signing ceremony

Ziauddin College of rehabilitation sciences (ZCRS) while focusing its vision of producing competent and dedicated health care professionals has moved a step ahead into the community to promote WHO 2030 rehab initiatives.  To develop a strong multidisciplinary rehabilitation workforce that is suitable for country context, and promoting rehabilitation concepts across all health workforce education, Department of occupational therapy ZCRS has initiated collaboration with institutes Karachi Vocational Training Centre, Dewa Academy, Learning Hands, Pakistan Centre of Autism and Imran Rehabilitation Sciences. The MOU signing ceremony was conducted at ZCRS boat basin location on 18^th February 2022, Principal of the college Dr. Sumaira Imran Farooqui was delighted to share her views of growing the work force and promoting integration between the stakeholder for marginalized population, Director ORIC, Dr. Zulfiqar emphasized on collaborative research work for evidence based practice in rehabilitation, MS. Qurat ul ain Adnan head of  Physical Education, Health and Sport Sciences also suggested physical fitness and sports training for future collaboration. Ms. Neelum  Zehra, head of Occupational Therapy Department was the conceptualist for building up the relationship in the industry, she visions this agreement as improvement in integration of rehabilitation into the health sector and strengthening intersectoral links to effectively and efficiently meet population needs.
